Probably, my questions would pertian to what wealth could you get a majority of the population to agree on taxing, and how much.

It’s easy to say “I think we should put in wealth taxes” it’s hard to get people to agree that above $x dollars and for y% is what would be needed. Many Democrats would agree on wealth tax of 10% over $300 million. A lot of progressives would say that is far to little and to high starting entry, but if you shift those numbers lower/higher you would lose chunks of the population agreeing, and ultimately destroy the possibility of it being started. Which to be honest getting it instituted first, then modifying it seems like the easier thing to do, than launch i high enough tax to fix the issues up front. You’ll lose all the corporate democracts, and essentially have 25% voting for it at that point… making it a dead end

Is that ending up just being the same thing we have in the U.S., except maybe less advertising. We have recruiters that go to every high school, tv advertisements, and every man is required to enroll for the draft, but instead of enrolling there they seem to be auto-enrolled which makes more sense. Then the legislature makes a vote on whether to institute the draft, same as here.

To true, unless you get a state to make the arrest and charge him, Trump would just pardon him. And no state leader (governor) wants to challenge him enough. If there was such, they would arrest him when he landed in the U.S. hold him without bail as he is a flight risk and sentence him to 3 years prison.

And Trump would throw a hissy fit and declare war against a state, which any member of the executive branch who followed up on those orders would be violating their oath, as the arrest and punishment were legally binding

So Obama put these in place, Trump undid them. Biden puts similar in place, Trump undoes them. There sure seems to a lot of undoing for nothing ever being done. There are a lot of shitty Democrats, the U.S. leans far right, but “democrats do nothing” is the shield Trumpers hide behind every day.

Police don’t have the right to pull people over, ask them to exit their vehicle, cuff them, or put them in the back of a vehicle (detain them) without a reason. Stopping someone without reason is harassment, the rest is assault/battery (depending on location)/kidnapping without providing the reason. If they give you a reason they can detain you, but if that reason does not follow the laws or is determined to be unreasonable by a judge the body making the arrest is supposed to be held responsible and penalized, possibly making them open to a lawsuit. Aka she should sue them, and taxpayers should be pissed we are having to pay for this
