Her statement - in an Irish paper, talking more about Ireland than the UK, seems to support your assumption.

It’s just as clear it is impossible to veer right enough to scrape a single vote off the republican ticket. The left will criticize, but veer left and at least some will hold their noses and (protest sign in hand) vote anyway.
“Demand” was apparently too strong a word. Reading the actual quotes in TFA, they “urge”, “call on”, and “call for” Israel to allow others to mitigate Israel’s genocide of Palestinians. They did get as far as "condemn"ing the murder of journalists, but that’s all.
They request, not demand, and there is no mention of evea slap on the wrist as a consequence when Israel decides to ignore it. The mass murder and starvation of Gazans is much too far along for this kind of toothless statement.
