They all recieve AIPAC money.
Even if this passed Trump would veto then they’d need 2/3 in the senate to over ride the veto which would never happen.

This man wants to vibe fight a second war?

For me the interest isn’t Pakistan v Afghanistan it’s the recently signed Saudi/Pakistan/Egypt mutual defense agreement. Iran seems to want to drag Saudi into the war and Pakistan a titular US ally took some causalities protesting the US. If Saudi is dragged into this war what side does the nuclear armed Pakistan land on.
No matter where Pakistan lands does Afghanistan react, if the Afghans do expand operations what does India do?

High quality planning by SecDef, Im sure this little adventure will go well.
We’re transitioning a bunch of commands, we’ve been under a hiring freeze for a year, and we haven’t moved assets to the right areas.

The RSAF has in the neighborhood of 400 fixed wing attack aircraft, they can strike Iran at will.
The UAE has 120 fixed wing combat aircraft, they can also strike Iran at will.
The Emirates and Israelis have worked together a bit in Africa so they should be familiar with each other’s tactics and since most of their planes are American they can refuel using US tankers

If they keep striking the gulf states they might bring them into this war

They’ve both said it’s an open war

Well Mark perhaps NATO should get to the supporting part, maybe flex those Rafales and Gripens

This is not a defence of any action but I’d say most of the government workers in this area of the world are emergency essential so they have to stay. The political class wants to traumatize government workers so leaving the ones not essential there tracks

I wasn’t thinking of private schools when I made the comment but I wonder if it would be enforceable for them.

While I agree with this bill I don’t care much for the trend of mixing to politics and education curriculum. The country has a loose enough relationship with facts to let the politicians decide what should be taught.

They absolutely should and should do it quickly.

I will never understand how the women in this administration cover for the men who raped girls.

It’s been tried multiple times and the invaders always lose the war and territory.

I’m sure in a month or so the US will be open to peace talks

C’mon she just trying to get laid in private which is why she needs those jets.

Wrong administration for this type of thing

Risks?
I’d say they’re already there and they’ll probably drag Chad into it.
They signed an agreement a couple of months ago so OFC they’re going to help. It seems like they handle Afghanistan fairly easily
