The article says that Nazis could very well exist, but they don’t have any significant power. Which you’d think invading an entire country to get at a handful of alleged Nazis might be a bit overkill, since there’s zero evidence that the entire country is just overrun with Nazis.
Again, they’re using the same argument Israel is: everyone in this territory is (insert code word for evil here) and we must be allowed to kill them. But you think it’s ok when Russia does that.

It would ruin their ability to justify Russia’s invasion and they’d have to reckon with the fact that they can correctly identify Israel saying “everyone in Palestine is a Hamas” as bullshit but for some reason Russia saying “everyone in Ukraine is a Nazi” weirdly doesn’t register. Unless you’re insisting that Russia is going to just give that territory up after all this, despite them claiming they have a hereditary right to it all, because they just really wouldn’t want to accidentally profit off taking over their neighbors territory in which case, it sounds like the “flat earth level analysis” is coming from inside the house.

Just because Putin says he’s “liberating” Ukraine doesn’t make it any more true than when the Nazis said they were “liberating” Poland. Non-western sources have exactly as much reason to lie to you as western sources do, and it’s kinda up to you to figure that out instead of slavishly consuming state media but it’s a different state so it must be more gooder!
