13·1 day agoThere’s always the chance Costco gives its customers something. They have records of everything purchased by members. Every other company, I wouldn’t hold my breath. These tariffs have cost companies a lot in paperwork as well.
Maybe commercial clients who have bought something really substantial will get something refunded.
That’s all if Trump’s government complies, which he’s previously said it wouldn’t. He’ll make another excuse or appeal it until he’s gone, making it someone else’s problem.
I wonder how many companies were put out of business by these tariffs?
Did none of these members pay for a permanent membership so far?

I think Bannon was hanging around Epstein to monitor whether Epstein was going to endanger Trump.
As soon as Epstein started musing about how he was a risk to Trump he was arrested.

According to the article this applies to any of their training trips. Nobody is making them describe what they learned, or having them teach others.
America is killing us all. It could have gone differently. Their president has cancelled all climate initiatives in the country that pollutes the most.

Trump will be trying to steal the election in lots of different ways simultaneously. This article doesn’t even get to the ID law he’s trying to pass, where your birth certificate must match your current ID, or you have to also supply all intervening name changes (such as through marriage and divorce).
Also, trump is using facial recognition software and other data that will allow them to pull non-trumpy voters out of the lineup for additional time-consuming harassment over their ID. Voting times may be cut off.
Think how much they spent on seats for melania’s documentary on choosing a dress for the inauguration.
He doesn’t mean absolutely zero.
But things are far more dire than people think.
And huge rallies where people go home at the end of the day so nothing against someone like Trump. They need to stay out there instead of going back to work. The economy has to be brought to a standstill. It will take a huge toll. But to get rid of incipient despotism that’s what it takes.
