That is a legitimate response to what you said. I’m not as long as this other person in organizing and working but I do a fair amount of on the ground organizing. And it’s a fucking shit load of work. And it requires a ton of patience and broken heartedness. You didn’t address anything I said. Why complain about Obama or Hoover or George fucking Washington when a significant tragedy is unfolding right now. Of course we can learn from the mistakes of the past, but ignoring the present is being complicit. Good on you for organizing, patience, and all the work in helping others. Volunteer work is a grind especially when politicians could do so much so easily with the stroke of a pen. Those in power NOW need to hear your message.
