Gov. Gavin Newsom has a tight timeline to get his proposed congressional maps on the ballot for a November special election. Republicans are trying to slow him down.

The MAGA Party does not adhere to any of the basic tenets of the Republican Party - smaller government, lower taxes, individual liberty, family values, economic responsibility, etc., and therefore should not be claiming to be Republican.
