Republicans won’t investigate their own, but they will go after shitty neoliberals who act like Republicans.

    Which is good for Dems.

Cut the dead weight “moderates” and make room for the progressives who will actually fix shit.

If a Dem breaks the law, I’m 100% fine with them being prosecuted, while I’d prefer Dems hold their own accountable, I really don’t care who does it.

I’d rather they be in jail than dragging the party down with their baggage.

And nothing will happen. Welcome to Texas where Ken Paxton, Dan Patrick, and Greg Abbott, are allowed to get away with anything.

This is an example of a situation where bOtH SieDeZ!!! actually applies.

Punish wrongdoing everywhere. You commit a crime you pay the price.

Kinda sorta. The Democrats accused were keeping two main residences, one in DC and one in their home state, with the knowledge of their lenders. That’s not really fraud.

Maybe. The principle holds though. Politics isn’t a team sport. Prosecute every crime, not the the ones by the other team.

I generally agree with you…but a congressmember whose home is far from DC doing the normal things that people obliged to spend half their time in two locations for work do isnt something that should be prosecuted, no matter which party.

Its a bit different when there is a third house, used as a vacation home a few weeks a year.

Who cares at this point. The law doesn’t matter, they’re trying to put homeless people in camps. They’ve already put legal residents in camps. Minors and citizens too

Just punish them all. They should have fought harder if they didn’t want to get fucked by the state, as far as I’m concerned they were absent in DC
