At least nine Palestinians have been killed and 18 injured by Israeli strikes over the past 24 hours, according to Gaza's Ministry of Health

An Israeli strike killed an aid worker in central Gaza on 4 October, following several other deadly strikes against civilians in the besieged strip over the past 24 hours.

Saqr al-Qaisi, Palestinian director of the Turkish relief organization Deniz Feneri, was killed in an Israeli strike on Deir al-Balah on Sunday, according to Quds News Network (QNN).

The strike on the vehicle Qaisi was traveling in injured at least nine others.

“The targeted individual killed inside a vehicle was traveling between displacement camps for the delivery of much-needed aid including hot meals,” according to Al-Jazeera’s correspondent in Gaza City.
