Someone else in the comments here suggested that having an ad blocker active (I do, and I imagine you don’t) makes the site behave differently.

No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
