Majorities in most of the three dozen countries we’ve surveyed this year express an unfavorable view of Israel and little or no confidence in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
These findings come from a Pew Research Center survey conducted Feb. 8-May 13, 2026. Most interviews took place after the United States and Israel launched a military campaign in Iran on Feb. 28.
A big issue is a lot of people think this is a Netanyahu problem and not a problem with the entire country.
If Netanyahu was removed today, the evils would not stop.
Correct - this is a global issue, and that is just one piece of the whole.
That’s nice. When’s this bullshit gonna change? Until the rich & powerful are stopped, nothing will. I’m afraid we’ll all have to become Luigis to effect that, and realistically too few of us have the stomach or drive for it.
There is also the problem of voters not caring enough to punish their governments. World leaders seem confident that the electorate will not punish them for supporting Israel, or at least Looking the other way.
