It’s great that some MAGA morons are coming to their senses. But…
You know what? I have little respect from those who have “buyer’s remorse”, because the plain and simple fact is: if you bought Trump in 2024, you knew exactly what you were buying.
I can accept that it might have been an honest mistake the first time out. But anybody who voted Trump the second and third time knew perfectly well he was a felon, a convicted sex criminal, he lied 30,573 times to the American public during his first term and he tried to overthrow the government.
Those who regret voting for Trump after his first term only regret that it didn’t quite work out as promised for them. But they actively wanted this shit: it was no mistake. So fuck them with a stiff wire brush.

That’s the thing: I don’t think they quit anything at all.
Former Trumpers are still the same people who voted for the orange fascist. They just soured on their current cult leader and looking for another one - an “honest fascist” if you will. Don’t think for a second that progressive ideas have permeated into their jelly brains.
No of course not. But for them to sour on one single sociopath is certainly a data point.
I guess… But it sounds about as comforting as “He died but at least he’s not suffering anymore”: kind of clutching at straws to find a silver lining.
