Rimu has been manufacturing non-stop drama for weeks. He ignores multiple offers from multiple parties to de-escalate, and now he bans someone for trying to promote non-discriminatory language. He has also now cut off a PieFed admin from any and all support and ability to contribute to the software.
Oh and the real kicker ? Rimu did all this after his big grand post about how he is stepping back from drama and hiding away from users.
Communism is not the problem, dictatorship is.

I read this as completely the opposite: Why has a self proclaimed Stalinist decided to ban antiableist language on his code, if not to continue oppressing the proles? @Grainne@lemmy.dbzer0.com is just showing us he’s still bigotted like his heroes.
In order to defeat bigotry, you have to learn the origins of where the bigotry comes from. And if it’s concern for centralization, then it’s justified concern to have in a supposed decentralized network.
