I’m getting tired of having opinions projected onto me and then you folks debating those opinions instead of what I actually said.
I’m going to directly quote something and respond to it then I’m done talking to you.
You are correct. Trump wouldn’t actually care about one or two pilots. I never said he cared about the pilots. I said he cared about saving face. In order to do so he had to sign off on a rescue operation big enough to succeed without it blowing up in his face, which it nearly did.
Compared to the conspiracies offered here, Trump’s vanity is a more reliable source and requires fewer logical connections to explain the events of the operation.
