We salute, in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), the participants in the “Steadfastness 2” flotilla to break the siege on the Gaza Strip, which sailed from the city of Barcelona towards the Gaza Strip.

We also salute the brave activists participating in this great flotilla for their heroic positions that uphold the values of justice and humanity, and their insistence on rejecting the crime of the siege imposed by the terrorist occupation on more than two million of our Palestinian people.

The participation of about 1,000 volunteer activists from dozens of countries in the flotilla, and their insistence on challenging the occupation’s measures and its terrorism that it has faced against successive flotillas of freedom and steadfastness at sea; confirms the failure of the Zionist terrorism strategy to stop attempts to break the siege, and demonstrates the justice of the Palestinian cause and the right of our Palestinian people to a dignified life.

We call for escalating the international movement rejecting the siege on the Gaza Strip, especially in light of the continuation of the humanitarian catastrophe created by the fascist occupation, and we call on the international community, the United Nations and its institutions to protect the flotilla, prevent the criminal occupation army from targeting it, and take clear measures to stop the crime of the unjust siege on the Gaza Strip.
