The main figures associated with BreadTube are Natalie Wynn, creator of ContraPoints; Abigail Thorn, creator of Philosophy Tube; Harris Brewis, creator of Hbomberguy; and Lindsay Ellis, creator of a channel named after herself. Originally the label was imposed on these creators, and while they all identify with it to varying degrees, there remains a vibrant debate as to who is part of the movement.
For an influencer group supposedly based on being radically left and addressing the important issues it’s basically a death sentence to their persona’s to completely ignore a genocide and be less radical than Miss Rachel.
I guess, but also I’m okay with still consuming content from people not the most radical.
Also, hbomb hasn’t posted in 2 years on his YouTube anyways, and I personally don’t really give a shit about such people’s presence on other platforms. He also doesn’t really do videos on current events that much.
The rest of ‘breadtube’ I really don’t care about at all tbh
Shaun and a few others who are much less “radical” did special videos and streams on Palestine very early on. The genocide was a massive deal in the left and pressure to speak out was huge but many were afraid to use their platform. It was kind of ironic that breadtube was getting outflanked by “normies” who were way less into politics. I don’t watch hbomberguy at all so I can’t speak to how “left” he is. I wouldn’t discard him for entertainment content but any political video he posts from now on will have no credibility left.
Not to defend breadtube in general, but Contrapoints is a different level of awful.
They’re basically all Contrapoints
Every single one of these people are Liberal Zionists on the same level as Contrapoints. TheKavernacle made a pretty decent video about it
Even hbomb? I haven’t seen much if any of his stuff recently or on Israel but hes the one person in that group I actually kinda like/respect.
Hbomberguy did nothing but some retweets and sitting on the fence.

Well that’s better than actively being bad at least
