Capitalism is a system which is uniquely predisposed to reward people who do nothing. Old people typically decline in the amount of things they do as time progresses. Rich people also tend to live longer
Capitalism seems to be a system which trends toward gerontocracy as a side effect
Not to mention it’s a system that encourages more money as you get more money and kicking the ladder out behind you. Feels like that would guarantee a gerontacracy
