Every time I’ve griped about USPS on here, it’s gotten well down voted. My assumption is that it’s because:
The current American administration has also been critical of the USPS, and any type of opinion crossover is somehow triggering
There aren’t currently any better solutions, and any type of criticism of the only current option is somehow triggering
Lemmy has a notable population of American postal workers, who are feeling like their jobs are on life support, and the criticism is (more understandably) triggering
It’s difficult to discern, because they aren’t willing to have dialogue. They’re not even willing the make weak accusations, as is the Lemmy way.
