None of this regime has explained anything properly. The closest I’ve seen is the ICE lawyer who told the judge to hold her in contempt so she could get 24 hours of rest.
Explanations would require rationale, or at least introspection enough to realize there may have been no rationale.
Neither are traits of the US government.
There’s lots of rationale, mainly corruption and arrogance. But explanations would require that these people can be held accountable in some way. Since that is not possible, not explanations are needed. They can do as they please, and they don’t have to explain themselves to anybody about it.
Bondi, Patel, Noem, … none answered any questions. Obvious disregard for government institutions. They’re stalling. And when it really gets annoying for them, they’ll organise a Night of the Long Knives. And ICE will be their militias. If you take J6 in account, this is not fictional.
