In the world we lived in before trump, this was not a strange thing to do. The idea of the USA failing to meet its obligations as arms dealer were unthinkable
But even then, this is not a wise decision by any means - also playing with billions of public money.
It was a fine enough decision for 100 years, I guess it depends what your definition is.
I blindly crossed the street three times, I’d say it’s totally safe to do it like that.
