I’m in Aus, I don’t think there’s any rule about political party branded clothing here but I think if you were wearing clothing with a political parties logo and not directly involved in the party, either an actual politician or helping with their campaign, then people would think there was something dodgy going on …
In the US there’s laws in some, but not all states, preventing you from campaigning for any candidate close to a polling place. This includes signs, clothing, and verbally promoting a party or candidate.
It doesn’t matter if you’re doing it “officially” or just as a random citizen standing in line.
You are not allowed to wear political clothing where I live.
Edit: I meant in polling places, on election day. You can wear political messages all you want, otherwise.
