Bees are friends. [Some] wasps are mean.
In my personal experience, if you swat and hit a single bee or wasp once, it will leave you alone and fly away. If you repeatedly swat at and/or hit them then you will piss them off and they will sting you.
Of course if you are allergic, then do not risk it and just run the fuck away. 😊

Not sure about other countries, but in Germany I never got stung by honey bro. I just let them check me out so they know I’m not a succulent flower but a peaceful waste of time.
