    I thought shit would collapse in 2020… when we were shutting down I was telling people “shit’s gonna get real, see you at the barricades” and then woops we were back to work a month later selling socks to maskless old people

      Yeah how the US has handled the past 5 years has made me so doomer but also like to-the-moon because it feels like this is a process capitalism must go through and we aren’t there yet, no matter how much it sucks already

      I mean it did get crazy around some cities during the BLM riots, but liberal society has learned to have some good pressure release valves, like promising a bunch of reforms, some of which happened and helped, a bunch of which didn’t.

      People have to stop learning to be tricked by Dem/liberal promises. But then that’s been working since FDR, so no surprise it still works now.
