The current US administration wants to protect fossil fuel profits, slow the clean energy transition and curb China’s influence — whatever the cost to allies or the climate.
Sounds like China is a better trade partner than the US currently.
Most of Trump’s economics ideas are nonesense. Like the general idea of the US making all it’s own stuff, but also exporting goods a lot. Exporting in exchange for what?
