That makes sense, like I said I didn’t really know why other than what I heard from a coworker. Still seems a bit hypocritical. Takes away from the message a bit.

It’s not hypocritical, he said he would no longer tour, because of danger to his fans. The Super Bowl is not a tour date and there will be no danger to his fans, as they will not be the primary attending audience of the Super Bowl. It wasn’t some stand against the administration, it’s a protective action for his fans which isn’t applicable in this case.
