Destruction is necessary in life. It isn’t automatically an “evil” word. We as a species wouldn’t exist without destruction, death, and decomposition.

Now, whether the existence of humans at all is a good thing, is a question for Nietzsche and Douglas Adams. We aren’t the greatest.

…but you’ve seen a rifle take itself to school and start blasting? Recently I’ve seen a guy plow a car into a group of peaceful protesters and I’ve seen a pack of drones fly themselves into Russian bombers.

Even countries that don’t allow citizen weapons are armed to the teeth because their neighbors are as well. The first time I saw an assault rifle in real life was on some sort of police at a TGV station in France… and if your argument is “yeah but they’re trained police and militaries”, those are some of the most unhinged and unstable people I’ve ever met.

I know we need stricter gun control laws, and I know that societies without citizen weapons have lower to no mass shootings. I know we need free/low cost healthcare. I’m arguing that there’s nothing more dangerous about a rifle over other things in your garage but bump stocks make a rifle dangerous and unpredictable.

The rifle as a tool is just as safe as a log splitter, wood chipper, machete, drone, or the 3000lbs car you hurdle down the highway at 80mph. It’s the operator of those things that can be dangerous.

Bumpstocks, however, make the weapon discharge unexpectedly and is stupid to own or operate.

Hypothetically, let’s say the administration cancels social security. What happens to all of my money I’ve already paid into the system? I’m not at retirement age yet. Are they just going to steal my investment?

…assault with a deadly weapon, domestic terrorism to name a few more. Hopefully it means they are going to throw the book at this guy while obviously charging him with attempted murder. The DA just needs a minute to figure out how to kick him in the balls. *speculation

Besides them voting for Trump, another problem is that the big dogs like Kroger and Walmart have started stocking more international foods. Growing up in an Asian family through the 80’s, we waited for that care package from the homelands or we stuffed our return suitcases FULL of ingredients and left our clothes behind. It was the only easy way to get the flavors.

Unless you’re native, we ARE the foreigners, Goofy. Immigrants created the “America” you’re so adamantly defending and our melting pot of citizens only makes us stronger. Diverse food, intelligence, and cultures will make America great again. Not a bunch of crusty old xenophobic white people.

Hey, man! What do you have against sharks? They need food too. Euthanize them and OSHA and 9 other agencies will have a say in how the carcasses are disposed of “safely”.

50/50 chance they survive in the wild. 100% chance they die by being euthanized. Even if they die in the wild, they will feed the eco system. Even domesticated animals will eat their deceased owners when they get hungry enough. The only animal I can think of that won’t eat when hungry is a lonely guinea pig.

Uhhhh, how about try? If the options are to euthanize them or give them a fighting chance in the wild, they should just release them near or around another pod. The hubris of man to think animals can’t survive without them. They aren’t domesticated. If they’re hungry and see a fish swim by they’d be like “where’s the hairless ape’s hand to feed me?”.

I’m not sure you know how much landscapers and construction workers can make. ICE Cream Barbie’s threat may keep them from going now, but I know an undocumented laborer that’s gone to the Super Bowl with MUCH better seats AND took their daughters to a Taylor Swift concert in the same year. They also pay their fair share in taxes on their earnings.
