I kinda suspect that debts to people and companies within the US would mostly get erased. Because at the end of the day, money is a fictional thing we invented to make it easier to conduct trade. Odds are that we would take away the real valuables from the former elites - their buildings, land, assets, and finding jobs for honest workers at places that don’t suck donkey.

We might be able to beg foreign nations to delay or restructure debts. Maybe. Depends on whether the diddler in chief presses the nuclear button.

I don’t eat nearly as much food as I used to, and now exercise more regularly by going to the pool every other day. The doctor still thinks I am not doing enough. Here’s the thing: my intake of food is about 1/3rd of a close relative.

Between the doctor’s skepticism when I tell them that I have done things differently, and the lack of weight loss from a changing lifestyle, I am coming to a conclusion: don’t trust this doctor, and genetics is definitely a factor.

It is my hope for AI doctors to become reliable someday. My human doctor doesn’t really look at me, and doesn’t listen, and I hate talking. I prefer writing, because talking is hard. Being raised in the boonies, conversation in realtime isn’t a skill of mine.

I think it is 1 part fear, 1 part civility, and 1 part denial. Quite honestly, as someone who owns a gun and has been training in how to use it, I am hoping someone else handles things on my behalf. Killing and being killed is scary, and definitely means hardship if one goes through with bloodshed.

Unfortunately, I have the feeling that there won’t be any real choice for me and others. Sooner or later, we will have to raise our arms against the Trump Regime. Because they are monsters.

I hope that it becomes normalized to give ICE the Luigi treatment.

Typically, governments have spies. Those are useful for getting at the motive and intent of other nations, alongside convenient dirt.

It sucks that some innocent folks would relive bad memories from an unredacted release. On the other paw, that shield of civility is also letting horrible monsters have free reign to continue abusing people, or to escape the consequences of their sordid past.

As a society, we should be able to treat the survivors with kindness, and the understanding that they didn’t “ask for it”.
