Solarpunk is not just about being friendly and building community (I’d say that is a side benefit and an eventual necessity). From an individual standpoint, it combines the love of nature, animals and plants of hippies with the unplugged DIY joy of punks with a bit of freeganism (including construction materials). You can still do all of that and hate most people and that is fine…they will probably judge you anyway for riding a bike, plogging, making your own clothes, thus not fitting in…fuck’em.

9·3 months agoThey dont have to go nuclear, they can just hop back on their side of the border and build a huge wall, hey, we’ll even help them build it from the opposite side so that we’ll never have to deal with their spilling madness again.

















I see no difference between the book as a tool or any other tool. They all get worn, you can only use one copy at once…maybe the difference is that you will recurrently need specific tools…but reference books were like that too (replaced by the internet). But I guess that is why dictionaries were not lent, at least at my local lib.
