I don’t think that incident was particularly suppressed from the news, but maybe it was suppressed so well that there are important parts I didn’t hear about :(.

Dude it was the biggest shooting in Las fucking Vegas history and it fucking vanished from the news in like a week to a month.
Do you mean it was erased from news archives? Or just that it stopped being covered in new reporting once new info stopped emerging? Yes, it was a huge incident when it happened, and then there were some updates as they found out some things about the perpertrator. But after that, it stopped being news, I would have expected. The Wikipedia article has a lot of info and I remember looking at it a while back for some reason. Is anything important missing from it?
